Jesus teaches us to pray with awareness of our dependency on God for our every need- physical, emotional, relational, spiritual. Everything we could possibly need comes from God's gracious hand. And having received from God's hand, we are freed to share with others with the same generosity and grace with with we have received.

When we pray Jesus' Kingdom Prayer, we find it centers in this petition for God's kingdom to come and God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. To see this prayer fulfilled is to see ALL prayer fulfilled.
